RENTAL POLICIES

Rental Duration

Full Day: Starts at 9 a.m. drop off at 7 p.m.

IF YOU HAVE A MULTIPLE DAY RESERVATION , YOUR MACHINE IS DUE BACK BY 7 PM ON YOUR LAST RESERVED DAY 

UTV rentals can not be trailered to a different location.

Cancellation Policy 

• We offer a one-time courtesy reservation rescheduling if the change to the reservation is made at least 7 DAYS  before the reservation date . 
• Rescheduling is based on rental availability
• Bad weather or inclement weather does not justify a refund for your reservation.  We are glad to reschedule your trip for another day that has availability.  

Operating Requirements

You must be 21 years of age or older with a valid driver’s license to rent a UTV. The license must be presented on the day of your rental. NO EXCEPTIONS. If you are unable to present your driver’s license on the day of your rental, you will not be permitted to operate the vehicle and you will forfeit your rental fee.

Passenger Requirements

Seatbelts must be worn at all times .  All passengers must wear a helmet and fasten it properly.

SECURITY / DAMAGE DEPOSIT REQUIRED: We require a damage deposit of $2,500  Before you leave with the rental machine this amount will be a pre-authorization on your card.  Once the machine and all other rented equipment is returned on time, and without damage, the pre-authorization will be released.  Please note that this can take up to 14 days.

This security / damage deposit is used to cover loss, damages and expenses associated with the operation of your rental. Charges could include, but are not limited to: repair or replacement due to damage of tires and rims, suspension, shocks, body of vehicle, seats, bumpers, roof, and accessories.  The monies secured as a security / damage deposit will also be used to cover labor for repair, loss of rental income, any recovery fees or towing of the vehicle.  It is also there to cover damage or loss of tools, fire extinguishers, spare tires, helmets, goggles,  Tablet mapping devices, and other gear whether it is rented or loaned.

INSURANCE: The security / deposit, pre-authorization of $2,500 is to cover damage to the machine or equipment.  If damage or loss exceeds $2,500 you will  forfeit the deposit and in addition be charged the full amount of any and all damages. This money will be forfeited and may go towards paying for the insurance deductible or repairs to the machine.  This decision will be made by TRY N SOMETHING NEW ADVENTURES LLC

While the machine is in your possession it is completely your responsibility, regardless of if the damage was done due to recklessness, neglect or complete accident. 

DAMAGE TO THE MACHINE: If there is damage done to the machine, we will assess the damage and give you a full description of repairs.  Keep in mind that this may take days or weeks to get a complete estimate from a shop.  If there is damage to the machine, we will retain the entire amount of the Security / Damage Pre-authorization.  Any damage to the machine will be subtracted from the security / damage Pre-authorization up to $2,500. If damage exceeds the amount of this deposit, we reserve the right to turn in a claim with our insurance company.  Repairs will be made as soon as the insurance company settles the claim and you will be required to pay the full deductible.  A copy of the damage report will be emailed and mailed to your listed address. We repair damage with new parts.  Minor repair is performed at our shop and any major damage will be repaired through a local dealer

 For no additional cost, renter is responsible for the first $2,500 of any damages to the vehicle (including parts, labor, loss of use). All additional damage charges will be waived.

IMPORTANT: On the day of your rental, TRY N SOMETHING NEW will preauthorize on your credit card for 2,500 .This amount  MUST be available in order to rent the UTV. NO EXCEPTIONS.

VEHICLE RECOVERY FEES: In the unfortunate case that there is an accident, you get the vehicle stuck, or cannot return it to our place of business on time the renter will be responsible for the cost of vehicle recovery fees to return the vehicle to Try N Something New  Adventure's place of business.  These fees vary depending on the method of recovery but a good estimate is $175 / hour so that is what we charge.

Instances of mechanical breakdown that are the fault of Try N Something New  Adventures Ltd. will be addressed on a case by case basis with safety as a priority.

OHV ROUTE AND OBEYING LAWS: If you choose to drive the machine in the town of Matewan, Delbarton, Mccarr or Williamson you must follow all laws in place and obey all traffic laws.  Stay on designated OHV routes established by those towns.  There is an OHV route map in each machine.

Please stay on designated trails. 

If you receive a citation for any reason while in possession of a  Try N Something New Adventures  machine, you are 100% responsible for all fines and or tickets.  Please be respectful of our privileges and promote responsibility with your actions.

Reckless driving is prohibited. This includes but is not limited to: jumps, excessive speed, rock crawling, and power sliding etc.

Do not use the machine to tow or be towed by another machine.

When to arrive

We  recommend arriving 20 minutes prior to your reservation to complete all of the required paperwork and go over the operation of the machine. 

What’s included with the rental?

The rental fee includes a trail paper map and helmets for all drivers and passengers and a full tank of gas. Helmets are required to be worn at all times by drivers and passengers. 

Trail permits and Day Passes ARE NOT included and must be purchased separately for each individual. We also sell Day Only Wristbands for those riding one day .

The UTV is to be returned in the exact same condition it was in upon check-out. 

NOTE: acceptable tire tread-wear is expected, however excessive wear/damage will be charged.

Fuel

Rentals will have a full tank of gas . You can refuel on your own ( regular gasoline), 

or  we can  take care of it for you. If we refuel , the following charges will apply.

• Full tank: $30
• Three-quarters tank: $20
• Half tank: $15
• Quarter tank: $10

Wash

All rentals are sent out clean.  We ask that the rental is returned clean or subject to cleaning fees will be charged .  There is a car wash located 1 mile from our location where you can wash the machine, we do have quarters at our location for the car wash 

We can wash it for you for an additional charge  

Late returns

LATE FEE: If the machine is returned late there is a $25 charge for every 15 minutes you are late.  This equates to $100 for every hour you are late.  After the 4th hour, we will assume you are stranded somewhere and we will notify the authorities.  No pro-rated refunds are given for early returns.

• Full Refund or Credit with 31 days notice 
• 50 Percent Refund with 15-30 days notice 
• No refunds for cancellations made 1-14 days
